The Friends of St Margaret the Queen is a charitable organisation, established in 1981, which is dedicated to restoring and preserving our beautiful 13th century church for worship and the benefit of all who visit.

We warmly welcome anyone to join the Friends of St Margaret’s. It is a great opportunity to support the history and community of the church and become custodian to such a wonderful legacy.

Buxted Primary School Logo

Buxted Church of England Primary School has direct links with St Margaret’s Church.  One of the aims of the school is to encourage the development of a Christian ethos and values.

Collective worship is carried out daily and the Rector attends the weekly assemblies.  The school uses the church at Easter, harvest and for end-of-summer leavers’ services. At Christmas it is used for carol services and nativity plays.  All of these services are always well attended by parents and visitors.
